Sophie Tsifridis

Sophie started dancing at Dance Discovery in 2008 and has been assistant teaching all genres of dance since 2016. She has been a member of the performance team since the age of 7, competing in various competitions across the state. Having completed the Australian Teachers of Dancing examinations in jazz and ballet and the royal academy of dance examinations, she has had the opportunity to perform in the ATOD State and Interstate competitions.

Sophie’s highest achievements in her career are winning the Junior Jazz Victorian Scholarship in 2019 and the Senior Jazz Australasian Scholarship in 2021.

Throughout Sophie’s commitment to dance, she won the Dance Discovery Sally North Performance award in 2016. Also, in that year, she had the opportunity to dance in the U.S. at Disneyworld and Universal Studios.

Sophie has also completed her VCE VET Dance Certificate ll while also completing VCE VET Dance Units 3/4, and having the opportunity to perform at Top-class Dance.
