Anna Boland

Anna has been the Principal of Dance Discovery Brunswick for the past 16 years. Anna has an extensive dance background both here and overseas in Classical Ballet, contemporary and Jazz dance.  Anna has been a member of the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) for the past 25 years, seven of which she was the director of the company.  In 2013, Anna was awarded a life membership to ATOD, and holds a Member Teaching qualification with them. Anna also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Classical Ballet Teaching from Melbourne University.

Anna has had many highlights throughout her teaching career, with students being accepted into the Australian Ballet School and the Victorian College of Arts. She has also had many students follow their dreams and perform on Broadway, in the Moulin Rouge, on cruise ships, all over the world.

A strength of Dance Discovery is in their philosophy not every child needs to be a dancer to love dance and every student is valued for who they are.
